Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis fenomena penyesalan pasca perceraian dari perspektif hukum keluarga Islam. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipan, dan analisis dokumen. Subjek penelitian mencakup individu yang telah mengalami perceraian dan menyatakan penyesalan, serta konselor agama yang terlibat dalam proses mediasi dan konseling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyesalan pasca perceraian sering kali terjadi akibat kurangnya pemahaman terhadap konsekuensi jangka panjang dari perceraian, baik dari aspek psikologis, sosial, maupun hukum. Dalam perspektif hukum keluarga Islam, perceraian seharusnya menjadi solusi terakhir setelah berbagai upaya mediasi dan konseling dilakukan. Namun, keputusan bercerai sering kali diambil secara tergesa-gesa tanpa mempertimbangkan dampak jangka panjangnya. Penelitian ini juga menyoroti peran penting konselor agama dalam memberikan nasihat dan mediasi yang dapat mengurangi terjadinya perceraian yang tidak perlu serta meminimalisasi penyesalan pasca perceraian.
